Now on to the main events! Hogle Zoo and the “This is the Place” Monument. Who says to need to be a kid or have kids to enjoy the zoo, and we have always had the being kids part covered anyway. We had SO much fun! I can’t believe this was nearly 3 years ago now. You know what they say, time flies when you are having fun!
One last stop to the DMV, which ended in the successful renewal of our licenses this time. Oh the joys of having a husband who was born in Mexico. Makes paperwork fun…(note my sarcasm).
Is it weird that this drinking fountain is the first thing I think of when I think of this particular zoo? Because it is. Ever since I was a little girl, I would ask my parents if we could go to the zoo with the lion drinking fountain.
This camel was blowing kisses-it was so hilarious!
We ended the day out with Olive Garden and then went home to enjoy another movie together. It was such a fun way to celebrate our two years of marriage.
